Hydrostatic Liquid Level sensors
A fluid column generates a specific pressure which is related to the density and height of the liquid. This hydrostatic pressure can be measured at the bottom of a tank, reservoir or open water. The liquid level can then be determined with the aid of the known fluid density or by proper calibration.
Sensortechnics offers two different versions of rugged hydrostatic liquid level transmitters: submersible sensors for immersion into the liquid or sensors with threaded ports which will be externally mounted through the tank wall.
