| Sensors for Volumetric Flow Measurement Volumetric flow rates can be determined by means of differential pressure measurements of liquid or gaseous flows. An artificial constriction, e.g. by an orifice plate or industrial nozzle, is introduced into the flow channel. The resulting increase in flow velocity creates a decrease in static pressure. A differential pressure Ap can be measured across the construction which is proportional to the square of the flow rate. Sensortechnics offers differential industrial pressure sensors in a wide variety of different designs for volumetric flow measurement of liquids and gases. • Ultra low differential pressures from ±1 mbar • Wet-wet differential pressure measurement • Square rooted output signals |
