Pressure sensors for Air and Gases
Sensortechnics' pressure sensors are based on proven piezoresistive technology. Four resistors are implanted onto a thin silicon diaphragm and connected to form a bridge circuit. Even the lightest pressure causes the diaphragm to flex changing the resistor values in proportion to the applied pressure.
Sensortechnics offers a very wide range of pressure sensors for air and gases. Options include basic mV output types or fully signal conditioned versions with high level analog or digital output signals. The sensors can be housed in miniature nylon packages suitable for space-saving PCB-mounting as well as in rugged metal industrial enclosures.
• Pressure ranges from 1 mbar up to 1000 bar
• Absolute, differential or gage pressure measurement
• Custom calibrations and barometric pressure ranges
• Analog and switching outputs or digital interfaces (I2C, SPI)
• Digital signal conditioning with high resolution and very fast response times
• Excellent stability of sensor signals
• Sensor self-testing functions on request
• Special versions for battery powered applications
• Miniature housings for space-saving PCB-mounting
• Rugged stainless steel or aluminium housings
• Custom specific product modifications and designs
