Ultrasonic Air Bubble & Air-In-Line Detectors
Non-invasive bubble detection systems are ideal for critical applications where air or gas bubbles require detection through rigid or flexible tubing. These ultrasonic sensors can also perform as liquid level or foam detectors in larger tubing or vessels. Applications include patient-connected medical devices, chromato-graphy, dispensing and other industrial and analytical applications.
• Measurement unaffected by optical and dielectric properties of the tubing or fluid
• No media compatibility or sterility issues because of no direct contact between sensor and contents of tubing or vessel
• Wide variety of standard designs plus customisation to any form, fit or function allows huge design flexibility
• Pulse-type technology offers excellent electrical noise immunity

Fluid Monitoring Sensors for Medical Applications
Drip Chamber Liquid Level and Foam Detectors
Drip chamber level sensors are custom designed for use with soft drip chambers and tubing of various diameters and tapers. These sensors allow for constant visual confirmation of fluid levels and are required for many patient-connected medical devices.
Optical Blood Leak and Blood Component Detectors
Optical blood leak and blood component detectors measure the blood content in dialysate, plasma or water in critical medical device applications. Sensors can be precalibrated with application specific detection thresholds using integrated programmable microcontroller-based circuitry.
