The piezoelectric shear mode sensor, amplifier and integrator arc contained within an inner metal enclosure, this is available in various packages offering electrical and thermal isolation from the outer stainless steel body. This arrangement prevents earth loops and eliminates electrical interference, as well as minimising thermal shocks and base strain. Available in various packages with both MIL connector specifications and armoured cable options. Ruggedised versions with isolated/ non-isolated armoured conduit are also available.
