DP867E.doc REV.0 12/12/2003 Pag. 1 di 2 “SECURNET PLUS”, A REMOTE MANAGEMENT, SUPERVISION AND CONTROL SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION The Securnet Plus system is a supervision software that allows monitoring the status of a gas detection system equipped with the SENSITRON gas detection panels, model: Galileo Multiscan Parking, Galileo Multiscan Light, Galileo Multiscan IDI474 and PCM 6-02 (modular cards in rack 19”). With the term “Monitoring” we indicate the possibility offered by a control system to represent, locally or remotely, the evolution of environmental conditions occurring in the supervised site: the information coming to the Securnet Plus, further than visualized, can be stored for a posteriori control or eventual processing. This control can be related with danger or alarm, fault and malfunction conditions, and also with the automatic or manuals operations undertaken (remote control, etc.). The monitoring made by Graphical Maps is very rich of information and features, and especially immediately well-understood by the operator. The schematic representation of the supervised areas allows immediate evidencing of the ongoing event. The Securnet Plus application, installed under Windows (95, 98, 2000/ME/NT), allows monitoring one or more panels as specified above, by receiving the alarm and fault information through the Modbus protocol, and highlighting them on plan view (map of the supervised or controlled sites) or symbols (schematic representations or flow diagrams for machines and/or systems). The maps (backgrounds: screens, pages, etc.) where symbols are positioned are either realized on a computer using drawing software or existing drawings can be imported by means of a scanner. The type of files handled by SecurnetPlus are: BMP, .JPG, .GIF and .ICO. Once the Securnet Plus software is installed, configured and tested by the engineer in charge, the User can use it autonomously. Securnet Plus does not have the traditional menus of the typical Windows applications, but is rather based on graphical objects that can be used more intuitively such as: Symbols of Sensor, Display, Bargraph and Output symbols positioned on the maps (screens). The Sensor symbols will repeat the status of gas detectors (or other variables) that are installed on the system and connected to the remote panel, by modifying their aspect (colour, shape or other) depending on the programming performed for the Securnet Plus. The Display may have any shape or dimension and provide in real time an indication, in digital form, of the values that is measured by the associated sensor.
