ISG
Product Description
ISG induction innerseal is a one-piece product that provides a peelable seal to glass containers. It is
designed for use in plastic caps in conjunction with induction heat sealing equipment. ISG innerseal is
available printed with a generic or custom message.
Typical Applications
Typical applications include innerseals for dry, non-aqueous and oily products such as spoonable
dressings, instant coffee, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, etc.

Polyester film 0.013 mm 0.0005"
Polyolefin foam 0.127 mm or 0.254 mm 0.005" or 0.010"
Aluminum foil 0.025 mm 0.001"
Polyester Film 0.013 mm 0.0005"
Sealable Film 0.038 mm 0.0015"
Composition Special Notation: ISG can also be supplied with a 0.005" polyolefin foam, referred to as U5
and with a 0.010" polyolefin foam, referred to as U10.
Typical Physical Properties:
MVTR <0.01 g/100 in˛/24 h ASTM F-1249-89
Oxygen Permeability <0.01cc/100 in˛/24 h ASTM D-3985
Color of facing – aluminum
Regulatory Status: All components of the above mentioned innerseal are regulated by the Food and Drug
Administration as indirect food additives under appropriate paragraphs of the Code of Federal
Regulations, Title 21. A letter outlining specific regulatory status is available on request.

Product Use: User is responsible for determining whether the Unipac product is fit for a particular
purpose and suitable for the user's application. UNIPAC DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESSED AND
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Limited Remedy: If this product is proved to be defective, the exclusive remedy available and Unipac's
only obligation shall be, at Unipac's option, to replace such quantity of this product that is proven to be
