Top TabTM TT-529 Product Description TT-529 innerseal is an induction innerseal that incorporates an easily gripped semicircular tab for ease of opening and features a tamper-evident design. TT-529 innerseal forms a fused seal for use on polyethylene containers that provides product protection and also causes the innerseal membrane to tear rather than peel, when the tab is pulled upward. The consumer is thereby allowed easy entry to the contents of the container. The torn innerseal provides visual tamper-evidence.(impossible to re-seal) The unique design of this tabbed innerseal provides an advantage to the cap manufacturer because a conventional punch and die set can be used when lining the caps. A special punch is not required to form the tab. TT-529 innerseal can be supplied as facing only or wax bonded to 0.020" or 0.035" white-lined pulpboard. Typical Applications Typical applications include innerseals for dry drink mixes, pharmaceuticals and personal care products.
