Safe-Gard Type BTM SG-201A/W-77 Product Description SG-201A innerseal is a product that provides a fused, tamper evident seal to polypropylene containers. It is designed for use in plastic caps in conjunction with induction heat sealing equipment. After induction sealing, the primary facing is sealed to the polypropylene container providing good resistance to aqueous products, alkalis, mild acids, alcohols, hydrocarbons, and other solvents. SG-201A innerseal also has excellent moisture and oxygen barrier properties. After removal of the primary liner, the W-77 closure liner remains in the cap to provide a high quality chemically resistant liner. Typical Applications Typical applications include cleaning solutions, solvents, agrichemical and automotive products, etc Seal Composition Nominal Thickness Metric Standard Pulpboard As specified Bleached Kraft Paper 0.089 mm 0.0035" PVDC 0.003 mm 0.0001" Polyester Film 0.013 mm 0.0005" Wax(temporary adhesive) 0.013 mm 0.0005" White Paper 0.114 mm 0.0045" Aluminum Foil 0.038 mm 0.0015" Polyester Film 0.013 mm 0.0005" Sealable Polypropylene Film 0.038 mm 0.0015" Available Backings : pulp, Composition Special Notation: SG-201A innerseal is available with 0.020”, 0.030" or 0.035” white-lined pulpboard. SG-201A innerseal can also be supplied printed with a generic or custom message.
