Product Description
Safe-Gard 740/P is designed to provide a weld seal by Induction Heat Sealing to HDPE containers. The
material separates to form a (printed) paper-backed foil membrane over the container neck and a wax
impregnated reseal liner in the closure (Type A material) (The paper is randomly printed in black with a
PICTOGRAM demonstrating opening instructions using a cutter cap).
Typical Applications
Safe-Gard 740/P is used for sealing dry and single-use wet products including agrochemicals and is
available in pre-cut disc and tape form.

Storage & Handling: Safe-Gard lining material Safe-Gard 740/P is particularly heat sensitive to
temperature; therefore, transit or storage at elevated temperatures can result in the facing separating from
the backing material. It is recommended that Safe-Gard 740/P products and lined closures are stored
betweeen 15 - 30°C and 40 - 60% relative humidity. Storage at temperatures outside these limits increases
the possibility of bowing, shrinking, curling or separation of the facing from the backing material. If
materials are overheated or chilled during transit or storage, it is advisable to store them in the
recommended temperature and humidity range for at least 48 hours before processing further. Strict stock
rotation is important and it is recommended that Safe-Gard 740/P materials are wadded, capped and sealed
within 12 months of our dispatch/invoice date.
Technical Data: All physical properties, statements and recommendations are either based on tests we
believe to be reliable or on our experience, but they are not guaranteed.
