Technical Information DELTASEAL® DSB 2000 (Board based) 1. Description 0.70mm Folding Boxboard/Polyolefin film/20 micron lacquered Aluminium foil/heatseal coating for sealing to polythene, polypropylene, polyester and PVC. Overall Tolerances; Thickness Tolerance (of 0.70 mm folding box board) is +/-0.15 mm, Diameter Tolerance is +/-0.15mm, Width Tolerance for tape is +/-0.80 mm. Width/Diameter of lining material to be specified by the customer. 2. Components and their Conformance to Food Regulations A. White Lined Folding Boxboard: Nominal Caliper - 700 micron (0.70mm) Meets FDA Regulations 21CFR 176.180, 176.260, 176.320 for direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs/ the "Food Packaging Recommendations and Communications" of the German Federal Health Office (BGA)/UK "Material and Articles in contact with Food Regulations", SI 1523, 1987 l B. Polyolefin Film which also provides secondary seal Meets FDA 21CFR 177.1520 for Direct Contact with food, the EEC Commission Directives 90/128EEC (1990) and 92/39/EEC (1992), Section A, UK 1992 No 3145 (The Plastics Materials and Articles in Contact with Food Regulations) and with the BGA Empfehlungen III. l C. Membrane Composition:- Nominal:- Aluminium Foil - 20 micron Heatseal lacquer 6 gsm All foil will be lacquered. Gold background and logo printing are available.
