THERMOSHRINKMODEL 450

The main components are the blower, heaters and control cabinet all of which are contained within or attached to the robust metal frame, the side and end panels enclosing the shrink chamber are packed with 30mm thick fibreglass insulation which is completely sealed within the panel. The top panel is packed with 60mm thick fibreglass which is also completely sealed within the panel.The heaters, two in number are each rated at 1.5kW. The total load of the heater is infinitely variable from 0—3kW. The temperature of the air leaving the air delivery nozzles is controlled by means of a temperature sensing probe placed in the return air path and linked to a control module in the control cabinet. This ensures that the correct conditions selected for a product are maintained.The tunnel is fitted with a rise and fall mechanismoperated by a 200mm diameter hand wheel, which allows it to be rapidly raised or lowered to deal with a range of products of differing heights, without interruption of the product flow.The Thermoshrink 450 is operated by controls housed within the cabinet conveniently mounted at “eye” level on the side of the tunnel and consists of an on/off push button (“on” illuminated when machine is running) door mounted isolating switch and temperature control module. The whole unit is supported on four adjustable non-slip machine mounts.The Model 450 is available without the rise and fallmechanism and is also available without the stand for conveyor mounting. Information on other tunnels available from Secomak is given on separate information sheets.The Model 450 is ideally suited to shrinking most sizes of tamper evident heat shrink sleeves as well as decorated sleeves used as primary labels on small to medium sized containers. The Model 450 is compact and easy to install and can be operated from a 13 amp power socket. The Model 450 is available in painted mild steel, stainless steel or stainless steel clad.The Thermoshrink 450 is a heat shrinking system forsleeving and employs electric heaters combined with a recirculating air system and a complete range of adjustments.
