Description
The E497 is a PC/104 form factor board which can be configured to provide the following I/Ocapabilities: CodeDescription E497-A48 I/O TTL channels E497-B16 high current Output + 16 optoinsulated Input Both configurations contains two 82C55 ICs, each having three 8-bits software configurable I/Oports. Each 82C55 accesses to the environment via its own 50-pin I/O header. All port’s directionmay be selected by programming the control register built in to the 82C55 chips. The board doesn’tprovides an interrupt management for the I/O events.
