Hand-held, it’s a superb addition to any test engineer’s toolkit. It performs measurements according to BS 7671 16th/17th Edition Wiring Regulations and Part P. Seaward’s unique integrated safety probe puts the LCD and test probe in the user’s line of sight whilst making measurements, no other tester does this. IRT 1557 is fully compliant with EN 61557 and IEC 61010-1 600v CAT lll. Automatic discharge of capactive circuits, it gives you automatic warning of the presence of hazardous voltages. It comes with an easy to use rotary setting switch. The IRT 1557 offers voltage measurements up to 1000 AC or DC.
