| The maintenance free, geared spindle-drives series GES are for the higher demanding applications and come under the umbrella of the work drives from SCHUMO. In difficult applications under rough industrial conditions, they convince by their large resistance and performance and by their long duty cycle. A patented overrunning brake design protects the wormgear against heavy impacts and enhances starting torque at the same time. Motorhousing, gearhouse, push-rod house and push-rod are made of aluminium. The synthetic spindle-nut provides extremely silent operation, and an additional security nut safeguards against primary nut failure. All materials used in manufacturing are recyclable. Because of their modular design, geared actuators GES have a wide range of applications in machine and plant construction and conveying industry.
