By using Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying difficult materials that are abrasive or friable are transported by pushing the material along a pipe in a plug form at very low velocities. This means minimal wear on the pipe bends, and minimum damage to materials, providing minimum maintenance and long life of the installation. Efficient use of compressed air also gives low power consumption and running costs.
