It acquires measurements, further processes them and assumes control tasks. A typical job for such systems is analyzing threaded fasteners under practical conditions. Measurement and control tasks can be executed in real time, which allows measurement processes to be graphically displayed in near-real time. Using suitable transducers, relationships between quantities such as torque, rotation angle and fastener tension can be measured at the actual fastening process. The control outputs can be used to drive electric screwdrivers using the accessory power stage (5413-2777/Px) and compressed-air drivers. All commonly used tightening techniques are supported (torque, angle, elastic-limit, etc.) Description With this measurement and control system, the tightening process can be continuously monitored using a PC monitor, thus allowing the process to be manually stopped in overload situations (e.g. thread stripping). Several different cutout criteria can be selected in combination (e.g. torque, rotation angle, tension and/or elastic limit). The drive is switched off when the first of the selected criterion is satisfied (priorparameter mode). Output signals can be used to indicate specific events. Input signals can also be used for functions such as angle triggering. Measurement curves can automatically be dynamically compressed. For torque measurements, it is possible to distinguish between CW and CCW loading, which makes multi-quadrant representation possible.
