Parallel Index Catalog - 16451 PARALLEL INDEXING DRIVES

The P series parallel index uses a cam mechanism with parallel input and output shafts. This arrangement supersedes the performance of conventional Geneva gear mechanisms in terms of dynamics, accuracy and loads. Typical applications include accurate intermittently driven conveyor systems with long progressions. The output & input shafts can extend out both sides of the housing; extend from only one side or opposing sides.Other options include output torque limiters, clutch/brake input (clutch/brake with use of the R reducer only), timing sensors and cam balancers to lower the input torque requirement.P series for index applications and the E series for oscillation applications with many options
