High pressure coolant Coolant supply is vital for successful titanium machining. It should be applied in large quantities and if possible, at high pressure. CoroMill 690 has a large number of threaded outlets for high pressure coolant in every insert pocket, enabling maximum pressure to be applied when required. Tool life can be doubled using high pressure coolant, compared to normal pressure, as the re-cutting of chips that can damage the tool is avoided.
