With our tool solution consisting of adaptors and cutting blades, you have the possibilityto compound a large number of tooling solutions from just a limited number of items.
The cutting blades are to be used with a large range of parting and
grooving inserts and
in addition you will have the same interface for internal and external machining. Axial machining To have a flexible tool solution and reduce a great amount of solid tools for axialmachining operations, we have steered the development to face grooving cutting blades.
Blades are available in A and B-curved design in a right and left hand version. Both are
to be used with CoroTurn SL adaptors. New design for improvement Adaptors are designed with a serrated interface and to be used with different cuttingblades. This extremely robust interface between adaptor and cutting blades is comparablewith a solid tool in performance. The tip-seat for parting and grooving is worn out much
faster than tip-seats designed for general machining, therefore it’s wise and economical to
use adaptors and cutting blades and just exchange the blade when the tip-seat is worn
out, instead of a solid Coromant Capto holder. Combine and save money
Face grooving bladeswith A-curve design
Blade for shallow groovingand face grooving Coromant Capto adaptors 90°in neutral , right and lefthanded design To emphasise the flexibility, this tool solution is compatible with 570-system cuttingheads and
boring bars. Furthermore Coromant Capto boring bars are compatible with
CoroCut SL and T-Max Q-Cut SL cutting blades.
