Raises the bar for aluminium machining The CoroMill 790 cutter achieves a level of accuracy and finish combined with metal removal rate which is unique for a standard indexable insert milling cutter. The accuracy of the serrated interface guarantees the position of the cutting edge in the cutter, minimizing the total tool run-out. The new CoroMill 790 insert geometry –NL for aluminium machining raises the bar for material removal rate and component finish for rough and finish machining. With the addition of HX cutters having extra close pitch, the table feed when finishing can be raised in all materials.
