ACCUBELL® Family Customer benefits The ACCUBELL® systems developed by Sames allow you to benefit from all the advantages of internal charges when applying water-soluble paints. :: ACCUBELL systems provide an ingenious method for using robotic sprayers with water-based products. High voltage is only applied to the product after loading the paint in an onboard tank electrically insulated from the ground. > The principle of electrostatic spraying with internal charge and discontinuous filling of a water-based product is exclusively developed and patented by Sames. > The sprayer connects to a «docking» filling station between successive painting cycles, where it is rinsed and receives the paint required for the next part. No product tubes in the robot arms and 7th axis system :: Perfect and flexible application > Great freedom of parameter setting: • No relative speed limitations • Better spraying access and movements, as compared to atomizers with external charges. > The technology used (rotating bell) allows very fine droplet atomization and good paint spray control. The finish quality meets the most severe coverage and reflection requirements. > Regular thicknesses, and possibility of applying thick coats in one pass. :: Accurate control of paint flow rate > Accurate dosing for filling and application (regularity of deposited film). > Fast response time for changes in setpoints. > Very short rinsing time, thereby reducing the color changing time (eg, 12 seconds for 100 cc). :: Product isolation > The robot carries an isolated tank and is therefore never exposed to paint tubes or high voltage cables. This significantly extends system service life and availability. :: Reduced maintenance and operating costs > No product circuit or high voltage cables in the robot arm and spray booth. > Direct filling (no manipulation of replacement tank). > Quick disconnection of the atomizer or of the turbine with bell cup. > No need for flow rate measurements with calibrated sampling tubes. > Reduction of paint consumption, elimination of booth slurries and associated water treatment costs. :: Dual model > ACCUBELL Dual allows operation with two separate circuits: a first circuit for water-soluble paints (in the tank) and a second circuit for solvent-based paints (direct line supplied to the rear of the atomizer, via the robot arm), both under electrostatic internal charge. This enables dual startup during production cycles, using both solvent-based and water-soluble products, as well as product-specific solvents.
