burner is an injection atomiser with a wide controlrange. The oil is atomised within a nozzle by means of steam orcompressed air. The nozzle consists of a shaft and the nozzle head. Thesteam is centrally guided to the nozzle, and the oil is fed to the nozzle
through a ring gap. This 2-phase mixture leaves the nozzle throughseveral bore holes specially adapted to the oil through-put, then itexpands and breaks into many small droplets. For the last years, SAACKEhas continuously enhanced this low NOx nozzle system to achieveultimate perfection. The SAACKE steam atomising
burner of type DDZ are low NOx burnersavailable in duoblock construction (i.e.
burner and fan are installed at
different locations). Basically, light fuel oil and heavy oil or gas may beused as fuels, but even a combination of gas and oil is possible.TheSAACKE DDZ
burners are especially used in large water tube boilers,but also as turbine exhaust
gas burners in power plants, waste
incineration plants and for special thermal-process technologyapplications.
SAACKE may provide you both with the individual
burner as with thecomplete firing plant. The most essential components of a steamatomising
burner system are the
burner itself, the air guiding system withfan, the control and monitoring system, and the oil and steam valves and
fittings. Air guiding is realised by means of a wind box which is a static airbox welded to the boiler wall. This highly-developed SAACKE air guidingsystems allows you to individually adjust staged air which ensuresoptimum low-emission combustion. When greater demands are beingplaced to the emission level and the preconditions are extremely difficult,the SAACKE steam atomising
burner is also available in an extendedversion.
