Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) Cyber Security Features .Multi-level user passwords The RuggedVDSL RS900L is an 8 port industrially hardened,fully managed Ethernet switch supporting Ethernet over VDSL (EoVDSL) allowing up to 4km LAN segments over telephonegrade cable at up to 35Mbps. The RS900L has one EoVDSLport allowing for aggregation of Ethernet enabled devices at remote locations back to the central control room. It is the perfect solution for bringing Ethernet networking to applications where telephone wiring is already present thus saving theconsiderable cost of installing new network cabling.Designed to operate reliably in harsh industrial environmentsthe RS900L provides a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and heavy electrical surges typicalof environments found in electric utility substations, factoryfloors or in curb side traffic control cabinets. An operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C coupled with hazardous location certification, optional conformal coating and agalvanized steel enclosure allows the RS900L to be placed inalmost any location.The RS900L is packaged in a compact, galvanized steelenclosure that allows either DIN or panel mounting for efficient use of cabinet space.
