4 Calculate your gearbox ratio by
dividing the maximum efficiency
speed of your motor (at the
selected voltage) by the required
speed of the gearbox shaft.
Using the gearbox data sheets
you can check if this ratio is
available, if not select the
closest to your requirement.
You will now have selected a
motor and gearbox which is close
to your requirement. Before
moving forward you should allow
us to use our special expertise to
examine your application and
selection. We are happy to
support the development of your
project with samples, technical
and commercial advice. Please
remember that there may be a
number of trial stages before the
final selection is made.
