Level Controller MS 1

Specially designed for use in sewage treat-ment plants and pump stations with liquids heavily loaded with solids, such as untreated wastewater, etc. The level controller is adjusted to the required level while freely suspended from a highly flexible cable that can be subjected to extreme loading. As the level of the liquid rises and falls, the position of the level con- troller changes. One level controller is re- quired for each switching impulse. The controller is, however, fitted with a change- over contact, i.e., depending on the electri- cal connection, the level controller can be used for both the filling and emptying of a container.A micro-switch installed in a shock and fracture-proof double chamber system that is fully encapsulated and therefore comple-tely waterproof, opens and closes the elec- trical circuit, causing, for example, a pump to be switched on or off, or an alarm to be triggered. Due to its practical tear shape, the stabilisation weight built into the hou- sing and its perfectly smooth, non-porous surface, the level controller is insensitive to turbulence, and, in addition, impurities cannot stick to it, and / or rags, paper and other solids slide off, and can thereby have no influence on the buoyancy of the controller. The cable inlet, which is mecha- nically sealed and fitted with a solid tension relief device, is also completely moulded into a separate chamber using syntetic resin, which ensures that no moisture can pene- trate into the area of electrical contacts. The electronics of the MS 1 level controller is specially suited for use in electronic circuits with switching currents between 1 - 100mA and voltages between 4-30V, for example, in areas with an explosion hazard.

Level Controller M 2

Due to its smaller volume and its resultant lower buoyancy, the small M 2 level control- ler is only suitable for use in media without large amounts of solids, and is specially sui- ted for use in small containers with limited space. Unlike the MS 1 level controller, this controller must always be fixed at the height of the desired switching point, as for reasons of space, no stabilisation weightcan be built in. This controller can also be supplied with a change-over contact, i.e., the controller can be used for filling or emp- tying depending on the electrical connection. The other characteristics of the controller correspond to those of the MS 1 controller type.

Level Controller KR 1

The KR 1 level controller is especially suitable for the simple, secure controllers of water draining pumps, whereby the controller can be directly mounted on the pump or to a motor protection circuit breaker. The diffe- rence between the switch-on and switch-off point can be determined by the length of the cable, which can be secured, for example, to the pressure line, to a holder on the pressu- re line, or by using a special stabilisation and fixation weight. Depending on the inclination of the float caused by the water level, an integrated and completely water- proof micro-switch switches the pump on or off respectively. The mechanically sealed cable inlet is also completely moulded into a separate chamber using syntetic resin, which ensures that no moisture can penetrate into the area of the electrical contacts. The good buoyancy created by the largevolume and the advantageous shape of the housing, as well as the extreme cold-flexibi- lity of the cable, guarantees an exact and reliable control, even in extreme conditions such as ice-cold ground water, polluted water or other unfavourable operating con- ditions. Unlike the MS 1 and MS 2 controllers, the KR 1 is a 2-point controller, which means that only one controller is required for switching both off and on. Normally, the controller is used for emptying. On request, however, this controller can be supplied for the rever- se switching function, or as a change-over switch. 174
