rEscan™ monitoring systems use acombination of specially developed software, purpose built hardware and NDT meth- odologies including; magnetic flux leakage, ultrasonics, laser and inductive methods for the monitoring and detection of conveyor defects. rEscan™ provides monitoring systems andservices for the detection of early splice failure, cord/strand breaks, cord corrosion and carcass defects.

The

rEscan™ Remote

Conveyor Belt Monitoring Systemis a permanently installed conveyor diagnostics tool designed for the analysis of splice condition, lay-up, cord damage, and cord corrosion without the need to stop production.Steel cords are magnetized within the belting then measured forthe amount of magnetic flux leakage within the belt. As the beltpasses by the transducer, a signal is sent directly to a
rEscan™Remote
computer system. Via VPN access, data is downloaded,analysed and an electronic report is sent to tell you the locationof damage within your belt with millimetre precision.

rEscan™ Semi-Remote Scanning System

rEscan™ Semi-Remote

is a permanently installedconveyor diagnostics tool designed for those sites with ISP or telecommunication service difficulties. The Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) hardware is permanently installed and designed to projectthrough, guarding for safety. Data is collected by trained
rEscan™Technicians
without the need to stop production. Data isanalysed and an electronic report is sent to tell you the location of damage within your belt.
