| | | All fleet operators, large and small, eventually bring their methane and propane fueled vehicles indoors for proper maintenance and storage. To provide gas detection and alarm systems especially suited to the needs and budgets of the small-to-mid-sized operators, Rel-Tek designed this modular Garage / Gas Alarm System, G/GAS-x. [Note that "x" signifies the number of gas sensors used, 1-8]. This economical gas detection and alarm system provides a major strong safety measure to detect the buildup of flammable and toxic gases within these otherwise unpropected facilities. Outdoor fueling operations can also benefit from the warning alarms, when hazardous levels of methane and propane gases are detected as a result of leaks and spills. Enhanced safety is now possible without the big-budget gas monitoring systems that may not be needed for small operations where direct personnel observation and supervision are more easily provided. No sensors is in itself a hazardous condition, creating an unnecessary risk for your personnel and facility. But, the addition of just a small number of gas sensors and an alarm or two can vastly improve safety, while providing security . Rel-Tek has priced this system for small budgets, making safety affordable to even the smallest of alt-fuel fleet operations. The first level of defense is to monitor the areas where alt-fueled vehicles are stored and serviced for explosive/ flammable gases. A cavalier notion is that workers can smell the gas, long before a combustible level occurs. | | |
