| | | The components The Leica BIOMED is equipped with a 165x160 mm mechanical stage 99b, with ball-bearing guides ensuring precise x/y adjustment of the specimen within a range of 76 mm x 52 mm. The stage surface is resistant to nearly all chemical substances and is easily cleaned after removing the object holder. The binocular tube 45 S with field of view no. 18 meets all requirements for this level of microscopy. The eyepieces have the great advantage that people wearing glasses can use the microscope without refocusing with the eyepiece. This is particularly good for the classroom, of course, where several people work with one microscope. The BIOMED also has a 55L0.90/1.25 condenser, which can be used forthe conventional contrasting techniques brightfield and darkfield. The choice of 4 black-mounted achromat objectives with the maximum field of view no. 18 is exactly matched to this type of condenser. | | |
