Installation Procedure
The base unit can accommodate
nylon or sheathed steel cable
ranging from 1.59mm to 4.77mm
diameter
Extend the locking handle into the
fully open position as shown. The
handle will "click" and be held in
this position. This will set the internal
locking mechanism to the maximum
opening diameter to accommodate
the range of cable diameters. Feed
the cable through the lockout in
preparation for the locking the cable into
position
After the cable is fed into the locking
device, place the locking handle into the
intermediate position as shown.
This will enable the cable to be
pulled (against some tension)
into the desired length
Pull the cable against some tension
into the desired length as shown.
Place the locking handle into the fully
locked position as shown. The cable
cannot be removed from the locking
device once the locking handle is in
this position. Placement of the padlock
shackle into any one of the four
holes will prevent the locking handle
from being opened. The cable is now
locked into position.
