Turbidity is a crucial quality parameter for drinking water, wastewater, beverages and chemical manufacture. Aqualytic’s bench turbidity meters allow rapid, accurate analysis of this key parameter for both clear and coloured samples.For compliance with environmental regulations, includingEPA requirements, an instrument with a tungsten light source must be used. The LAB-VIS meets this requirement.The LAB-IR turbidity meter is equipped with an infraredlight source. This eliminates interferences caused by sample colour, allowing turbidity measurements to be made in coloured liquids without the need for extensive pre-treatment.Both meters are supplied ready for use, complete with aset of secondary standards (0.02, 10 & 1,000 NTU), 2 empty vials, mains cable and operating instructions.
