For their determination 3 different types of sensors are available: insertion/immersion sensor, contact sensor and clamp sensor. They enable many types of measurements like, e.g. in build­ing technology, the temperature spread between water run-in and run-out temperatures by a firing plant. Reverse to leak detection sprays which can swell and quickly seal again seals made out of hemp for example, the leakage search with both gas detection heads is easy and operator-friendly. The instruments show existing gas concentrations on the display and warn via optical and acoustical signal at a gas concentration higher than 50 ppm methane. Herewith also small leakages can be detected. The robust sensor heads are connected to a flexible swan-neck, so that hardly accessible plant sections can easily be reached. The gas leak detectors are powered with 2 micro-batteries (ecom-GSK) or with 3 Baby (C) batteries (ecom-GSK2).
