Many détails carried oui bave been used in high-precision Systems, in aviation, and in the molor-bike and mini-motor-bike compétition field. 3-D ANALYSIS CNC WORKINGS The détails to be carried out are analyzed by using the Cad and Cam Systems. During this phase an évaluation of the workings, as weil as the distribution of the phases, based on the tolérance margins are observcd. By choosing the workings to be utili/ed on 5 sides in only one sel-up, it is possible to reduce the number of phases for the réali­sation of the détail and, thus reducing the number of speed picking-ups. By using 8-axis turning centres and 5-axis machining centres, it is possible to obtain extremely-precise détails at convenient priées. The operator's work is concentrated on the control with the génération of reports and Cam files, thus eliminating programming procédures on the machine. Strong benefits in the géométrie pré­cision of the traditional workings are automatically acquired through the élimination of re-positioning errors. With regard to particularly complex workings, it is possible to proceed with rough machining on 5 sides, lea-ving the finishing of ail the surfaces for the last phase, thus reducing the possibility of déformations due to particularly-difficult runouts. «jjjtagggljj§T -T.
