| | | PM-LED™ measurement software is specifically designed to measure the luminance and chromaticity coordinates of each LED of an array. PM-LED™ software is accurate and easy to use. Special calibration algorithms in this software specifically for the narrow bandwidth of some LED sources have been employed to give you the highest accuracy possible. PM-LED™ Measurement Software is used by Production and R&D environments interested in measuring many LEDs accurately in the shortest time at a reasonable price. PM-LED ™ software effectively takes the place of hundreds of spectroradiometers in a production environment. The PM-LED™ measurement software is capable of controlling data acquisition using a ProMetric® Color Camera via ProMetric® 8 software. | | |

| | | Radiant's ProMetric® 1400 systems are ideally suited to accurate LED measurement. They have full frame CCDs with mechanical shutters, which means there are no inactive gaps between the CCD pixels. This is quite important since the LED's are imaged as sharp spikes onto the CCD. CCDs with electronic shutters have gaps between the pixels and depending on how the spikes in luminance are imaged onto the CCD, there can be a large measurement error. To measure color, the ProMetric 1400 series cameras use a rotating filter wheel containing high precision CIE matching filters rather than standard gels mounted directly on the CCD. This enables the highest level of color accuracy. The 14-bit dynamic range can accurately measure the brightness over a large dynamic range that exits because of the high peaks and valleys of luminance on a LED module. | | |
