DESCRIPTION
The PM-1200 is an imaging photometer and colorimeter
that delivers the ideal combination of dynamic range,
color accuracy and price for production line testing
of LEDs, flat panel displays, backlights, projection
systems and instrument panels. The PM-1200 is based
on a 1392 x 1040 pixel CCD camera, mated with a motorized
filter wheel and a wide selection of imaging optics.
The PM-1200 has been specifically designed to bridge
the gap between high performance research instruments and
existing production metrology systems. In the past, production systems typically offered a limited dynamic range and used integrated color filters that yield modest color accuracy. In contrast, the PM-1200 system provides 12 bit dynamic range data, as well as excellent photometric accuracy and CIE-calibrated colorimetric performance. This is delivered in economical package by use of an uncooled, interline transfer CCD, which eliminates the complexity and expense associated with an internal shutter and cooling electronics.
The PM-1200 also includes Radiant Imaging's ProMetric software for camera control, data acquisition, data analysis and test report generation. The sofware provides automated, preprogrammed access to a wide range of color analysis and luminace measurement algorithms. In addition, built-in support for ActiveX controls allow the experienced user to
develop customized applications, and to perform automated
testing using sofware such as LabView, Matlab, VBA, VBScript, VB.NET, Javascript, C and C++.
