The ShadoCam Imaging Library (SIL) consists of a set of image processing functions that duplicate portions of Rad-icon's ShadoCam Image Acquisition application. These functions allow you to perform the same image calibrations that ShadoCam uses, in order to achieve the best possible image quality from your Shad-o-Box'" camera.

List of SIL functions:

ScDeinterlace Reorder pixel data stream transmitted from camera

ScOf f setcorrection Apply offset (dark) correction to captured image

ScGaincorrection Apply gain (flat field) correction to captured image

ScPixelCorrection Apply pixel correction to captured image

ScFixPixel Apply pixel correction algorithm to single pixel

ScReadPixMap Read factory-supplied pixel map file from disk

ScCalcPixMapMask Calculate mask field for pixel correction algorithm

ScErrorMessage Translate error code into text message

The ShadoCam Imaging Library does not contain any frame grabber-specific function calls. Frame grabber SDKs for handling the image acquisition process are available separately from the frame grabber manufacturer. However, camera configuration files for the Imagenation PXD1000, Data Translation DT3157 and Matrox Meteor-ll/Digital frame grabbers are included with the SIL. Sample program listings for the PXD1000 and DT3157 frame grabbers are also included. Please contact us for information about other frame grabber models.
