Shell Oil Cooler –“D” series (95 mm core thickness)

Construction The shell type coolers are manufactured entirely of aluminium alloys and the components are bonded by the controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) process. Starting from its experience in the heat exchangers field, RAAL developed a series of modular coolers of big sizes dedicated mainly to the cooler systems with medium pressure. Applications The recommended work pressure is 17 bars for the standard series. Through the core structure changing, RAAL can manufacture in the same range of types and dimensions coolers suitable for working pressures up to 25 bars. The application of these coolers is very various, including: engines, transmission systems, transformers, fuel coolers, hydraulic systems, etc. Dimensions and structure
ƒ The shell type cells are the basis of these oil coolers, they are made by drawing and have a wide range of types and dimensions. The distance between the connections is 659 mm.
