Shell Oil Cooler –“C” series (65 mm core thickness)

Starting from its experience in the heat exchangers field, RAAL developed a series of modular coolers of medium sizes dedicated mainly to the medium systems. Construction The shell type coolers are manufactured entirely of aluminium alloys and the components are bonded by the controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) process. Applications Dimensions and structure The recommended working pressure is 17 bars for the standard series. Through the core structure changing, RAAL can manufacture in the same range of types and dimensions coolers suitable for working pressures up to 25 bars. The application of these coolers is very various, including: engines, transmission systems, transformers, fuel coolers, hydraulic systems, etc. The shell type cells are the basis of these oil coolers, they are made by drawing and have a wide range of types and dimensions. The distance between the connections can vary from 439 to 589 mm.
