Shell Oil Cooler –“A” series (50 mm core thickness) Starting from its experience in the heat exchangers field, RAAL developed a series of modular coolers dedicated mainly to the medium and low pressure systems. Applications The recommended working pressure is 12 bars for the standard series. Through the core structure changing, RAAL can manufacture in the same range of types and dimensions coolers suitable for up to 17 bars working pressure. The applications of these coolers are: engines, hydraulic systems, etc. Construction The shell type oil coolers are manufactured entirely of aluminium alloys and the components are bonded by the controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) process. x The shell type cells are the basis of these oil coolers and they are made by drawing and have a wide range of types and dimensions. The distance between the connections is from 125 to 350 mm.
