A Q E D solution for a range of precision applications
Automated Precision
Q22-XE
QED's newest MRF machine, specifically designed for smaller optics, can polish parts up to 100 mm in diameter.
Q22-X
Using a rotational tool path, the Q22-X can polish high precision spheres, flats, and aspheres. Ideal for parts up to 200 mm in diameter.
Q22-Y
Raster tool path option offers all the capabilities of the Q22-X, plus square or rectangular mirrors and windows, prisms, and even cylinder polishing capabilities for parts up to 200 mm in size.
Q22-400X
Brings the precision of MRF to large components from 100 mm to 400 mm in diameter. "Upside-down" delivery system design and increased operating range provide significant advantages for large optics.
QED recently introduced the 750P machine, extending MRF figuring ability to very large, piano optics up to 750 mm in size. The next-generation 750F machine for freeform optics is currently under development. Please contact QED directly for more information on the Q22-750 line of machines.
Unparalled Accuracy & Repeatability
• Obtain high precision surfaces ranging from IX to A/50
• Correction of transmitted wavefront (windows, phase plates, entire system correction on one surface)
• Optical glasses, single crystals (calcium fluoride, silicon...) and ceramics
• Square and rectangular aperture surfaces such as prisms, cylinders, and photoblank substrates.

QED's Subaperture Stitching Interferometer (SSI) is an automatic, high precision metrology system for large clear aperture (CA) and high numerical aperture (NA) surfaces. The SSI is ideally suited to partner with the MRF family of machines or for use as a stand-alone metrology system.
