K Type Multi-Purpose Thermocouple

Each Thermocouple is hand crafted by a team of highly skilled technicians to the specifications of our clients. The multi-purpose Industrial thermocouples are available with 100 or 200 micron wire, these Thermocouples have a wire shaped tip not a ball as used in some Thermocouples. This gives a faster response time and greater accuracy. This is a very robust Thermocouple. Multi purpose Thermocouples are recommended for applications where the temperature is not changing rapidly. The Thermocouple tip can be fixed using solder or ceramic bonding into or onto the substrate being measured. (1) Characteristic Points of our Multi Purpose Thermocouples • The response time is faster than conventional Thermocouples. (as detailed above) • • The tip is a welded joint of the two Thermocouple wires, not a ball shape like conventional Thermocouples, a ball shape will take time to heat, because of its mass and therefore will slow down the reaction time, High strength, for applications where a robust Thermocouple is required. (2) Specifications of Multi Purpose Thermocouples • K type (Chromel Almel) Thermocouple. • Insulated Thermocouple with glass, teflon or ceramic insulation. wire diameter : 100 micron, 200 micron, and 320 micron length: we can manufacture to your specification.
