INVESTMENT IN HIGH SPEC CNC MACHINES-COMMITING TO CUSTOMER NEEDS
TOTAL PRESSURE
CONTROL
SOLUTIONS:
In response to growing customer requirements Pressure Tech has invested in the latest Hardinge Quest 8/51 and 450 VMC machines for quality CNC turning and milling. MD Steven Yorke-Robinson said, "Having gained a reputation in the regulator marketplace for quality products, the next step was to offer our customers greater flexibility and the ability for fast turnarounds. With features that reduce time spent on programming, set up times and machining, the new machines ensure we can continue to
produce high quality parts at competitive prices into the future."
The features of the lathe include: bar feeder y-axis, live tooling, twin spindle and parts catcher, which enable Pressure Tech to machine parts in a single set up, considerably reducing part production to typically 8 minutes per component. Steven continues, "In-house machining will support our continued plans to provide rapid response
