Model GM
1. Place in a convenient location with meter in a vertical plane.
2. Open "Bypass" Valve.
3. Connect Hoses to primary element - RED with upstream side (HI
Pressure) and GREEN with downstream side (LO Pressure). Heighten both
Hoses to equal elevation to create two even legs.
4- Open HI and LO bleed valves alternately to purge air from system. Drain
with convenient blue or clear tube.
5. When bleeding is completed and all air is removed, close "ByPass" valve
and read differential pressure. The PRESO system includes conversion
charts; read horizontally across from DP to corresponding pipe size, then
straight dwon to flow rate.
6. When reading is completed - open "ByPass" valve before disconnecting
hoses from meter and/or primary station.
- Do not leave liquid in meter below freezing temperature.
- Care must be taken not to overpressure meter.
- Secure and support hoses to prevent sagging and/or vibration.
Normal operation requires no maintenance. In cases where dirt or scale
builds up, flush meter with clean water or a compatible solvent.

Design Features
• Accuracy: + 1-3/4%
• Maximum overpressure: 60 PSI
• Maximum line pressure: 500 PSI
• Maximum temperature: 180 °F
Preso gages are protected against overload by a unique diaphragm housing design. When the pressure difference exceeds
the range, the gage will accept the accidental application up to 60 PSIG without damage. Under normal conditions the
differential pressure should not exceed the range of the gage.
