Trak-Lok® 449 Series
The Trak-Lok 449 Series limit switch and position monitor provides point-to-point limit switch signaling combined with continuous on-site visual monitoring in one compact UL/CSA rated NEMA enclosure. It is ideally suited for use with the Tork-Mate® Series pneumatic actuator for operation of Posi-flate® inflatable seated butterfly valves.
The Trak-Lok 449 Series utilizes high grade compo­nents throughout for dependable and economical valve monitoring in an industrial process environ­ment, providing improved information flow, safety management and productivity.
The Trak-Lok® 449 Series Offers Distinct Advantages
• Two SPDT limit switches provide positive end position monitoring of valve travel.
• High visibility display beacon provides visual "open" and "closed" valve position monitoring from distances up to 150 feet.
• Start-up and operating personnel have instant access to the exact position of automated valves without placing themselves in awkward or danger­ous situations.
• Guesswork in the evaluation of operational readi­ness is eliminated. A concrete measure of valve performance is provided while efficient plant maintenance habits are encouraged.
• Standard housings available comply with NEMA 4/12 and NEMA 7/9 classifications.
• Instantaneous hand-setting of limit switches requires only seconds.
• Direct wire-feed terminal strips are numbered and color-coded, with generous working space for wiring.
Trak-Lok® Options Are Versatile to Meet Any Process Requirement
• Many specific brands of limit switches can be used in the housing, including proximity sensor switches.
A UL/CSA rated housing can be built to comply to any NEMA electrical rating or explosion proof classification.
A pressure switch can be added to provide electrical verification of seat inflation.
Four SPDT limit switches or two DPDT limit switches can be used.
Custom terminal strips with additional contacts are available.
