The SE range has been specially developed for applications where a high quality housing with a high degree of polish and electropolish is required but where the extra components, such as a tri clamp vent, is less critical. The SE range is a cost effective alternative to the SF range.

The Microfiltrex range of high performance sanitary grade housing vessels have been designed to meet the demands of critical applications, particularly in the pharmaceutical, microelectronics and the food and beverage industries. Microfiltrex extensive experience in housing and filter technology offers the end user housings that are easily installed, have easy-to-use closures with a crevice free assembly. The internal surfaces are resistant to bacterial accumulation and are easily steam sterilised or chemically sanitised. Microbial security can only be guaranteed with this type of vessel.

The gas housing range offers the same high quality of construction as the SF and SE range but has a specially designed plenum to ensure excellent gas flow rates and low differential pressures.

The Microfiltrex sanitary housing range is manufactured using stainless steel AISI 316 grade. The internal volume is optimised to ensure maximum flow with minimum product loss in the

housing. The internal and external surfaces are mechanically

polished. Extra electropolishing is available if required for highly critical applications.

The Microfiltrex vent housings have been specially designed to protect hydrophobic filter cartridges from liquids, including rain and wash water. They are made from the same high quality materials found in all Microfiltrex sanitary housings.

The standard range is designed to take up to twelve 40" Code 7 filter cartridges (any configuration, including cartridge style, is available to special order) and covers a wide range of flow rates and filtration capacities. A full range of housing spares, including pressure gauges and tri-clamp connections, is available on request.
