Different polymers require different filtration technologies and Microfiltrex has developed a widerange of filter media and element designs to ensure optimum performance and economics.The pleated cylindrical or candle filter has the advantages of offering the lowest filter capital costand ease of replacement. This dramatically reduces turn-around times, leading to lower maintenance overheads and lower downtime. The filter candle can be fully welded or consist of separate components that can be dis-assembled to provide the capacity for cleaning and replacement. This second option of filter candle is marketed by Microfiltrex under the name REMPAK
