Innovative Technical Textiles 1912 : Formation of the Porcher Company specializing in the production of fine silk fabrics. 1950 : Diversification into technical textiles, principally fiber glass and synthetics. 1980 : Acquisition of various companies in France and North and South America. 1997 : Establishment of facility in China 2005 : Company is restructured into Business Units to adapt to customer expectationsPorcher industries, an international group dedicated to the development and production of innovative fabrics, combining textiles andchemistry for multiple industrial applications.
Five business units have been created:- Automotive - Building & Industrial - Composites - Electronics - SportAs autonomous entities, each business unit workstogether as a team to provide the products and services that our clients expect from a partner like Porcher industries. Each business unit is comprised of highly trained specialists who facilitate efficiency and streamline communication flow, thereby allowing more time for innovation and responsiveness to the customer.Now, more than ever, by sharing our know-how,developing customer relationships, and using the power behind our Group, we are able to move forward together to contribute to the success of your enterprise. After consolidating its international businesses focusingon the technologies and skills which comprise the heart of its operations, the group engaged in deep internal restructuring in 2005.The following statement is a simple, yet essentialconcept, which explains the rationale for making this transition: today, having expertise is nothing without also having the ability to collaborate regularly with our customers.
