High Pressure Compressors and Boosters

Since 1923, Pneumofore has produced air compressorsand vacuum pumps, featuring original solutions, the resultof constant efforts in research and development. Secondary to the electric power, compressed air is themost important energy source for production plants.The right choice of air compressors allows considerablepower savings and maintenance reduction.Pneumofore offers advice for the optimal sizing andinstallation of the whole compressed air plant to gain the best reliability. Different customized purchasing solutions, such as aircompressors leasing or rental, are available together withvarious options such as maintenance contracts allowingwarranty extension.

PH series High Pressure CompressorsMain Features

The PH series high-pressure reciprocating compressors, lubricated, air cooled, with measured capacity from 12 to 46 m ? Piston air end , lubricated, dual-stage, withspecial steel pipes for interstage air cooling.Intercooler and aftercooler on models from30 to 35 bar delivery pressure.
3 /h and deliverypressure from 15 to 35 bar, have been designed to guarantee highperformance over time.Every PH model has a dual-stage piston air end, with special steelpipes for intercooling the compressed air and improving the overhaulcompressor efficiency. The driving V belt and the belt pulley, i.e. the air end crank shaftflywheel, are completely surrounded by a safety metal cage.The compressors with installed power from 2,2, to 9 kW and15-20 bar delivery pressure are available with packaged air tank onrequest.For reducing the noise level below the limits prescribed by EC rules, the air end is assembled on the tank via vibration-proof rubberbushings.The standard configuration of PH compressors includes pressuregauge, non-return valve and safety valve.To improve the ratio between free air delivery and absorbed power,compressors with 30 and 35 bar delivery pressure are supplied with intercooler and a packaged motor fan.PH compressors are equipped with condensate separator andelectronic controlled drainer, non-return valve of Hoerbiger type,intake and outlet pressure gauge.Compressors with more than 5,5 kW installed power are equippedwith packaged star-delta starter and solenoid valve. ? V belt coupling with cast iron flywheel pulleyassembled on the crank shaft, protected bysafety cage. ? Packaged air tank , sheet metal type,onmodels from 2,2 to 9 kW and deliverypressure from 15 to 20 bar. ? Deadening rubber bearings ensuring noiselevel according to EC rules. ? Standard equipment includes intakepre-filter, deadening rubber bearings, inletand discharge pressure gauge, inlet anddischarge solenoid valve, non-return valve,safety valve, intercooler and aftercooler with motor fan, condensate separator andelectronic controlled drainer, star-delta starterand solenoid valve package. ? EC marking : the european safety regulationensures the danger-free operation of theunits.

PHB series Boosters

The PHB series boosters are lubricated reciprocating compressors with measured capacity from 8 to 150 m
3 /h,intake air pressurized from 6 to10 bar and final pressure at20 or 35 bar. These compressors are compact and silent thanks to thevibration-proof rubber bushings supporting the booster frame, easy toinstall without foundations or soundproof cabin.Coupled with medium pressure compressors in a centralized installation or remotly connected to the pneumatic line, theboosters are a flexible and cost-effective solution for feeding highpressure air to manufacturing processes and tools.The local increase in pressure shortens the high pressure pipe lineand reduces the power consumed for compressing air.Equipped with intake and discharge solenoid valve, deadening rub- ber bearings, aftercooler with package motor fan, condensate separa-tor and drainer, intake and discharge pressure gauge,star-delta starter package, intake pre-filter and non-return valve, thePHB series boosters operate in full autonomy.
