TRIRO Pumps For Lube Oil & Industrial seal Oil Systems

Plenty Mirrlees Pumps have decades of experience in manufacturing the TRIRO Rotary Triple Screw pumps in the UK. One of the biggest applications for these types of pumps is forced lubrication and seal oil circulation.

The TRIRO rotary triple screw pump is a positive displacement axial fl ow screw pump. It has only three moving parts - a power rotor and two idler rotors. Designed principally to pump clean lubricating liquids, it offers the Lube Oil and Seal Oil System designer a pump option with an axial pulse free fl ow pattern and extremely quiet pump operation.The TRIRO pump is the preferred option with many Turbomechanical vendors and users. The pulse free axial fl ow pattern ensures a good oil fl ow with no pulsing hydraulic shock characteristics. The pumping action is similar to that of a piston moving constantly in one direction. This action returns a very low shear characteristic, which ensures that the liquid being pumped does not become emulsifi ed, and therefore does not degrade it’s lubricating properties. The TRIRO range is available in 17 frame sizes with various pitch angles and lengths, which combined with different material combinations and mounting arrangements results in many thousands of combinations to suit virtually every Turbomechanical application. Standard designs are available to suit API applications and most customer and industry specifi cations can be accommodated. All TRIRO pumps are designed to operate at either Electric motor synchronous speeds or from direct coupling to a industrial power take off from main machinery. The high speed operation and compact design of the TRIRO pump results in a low cost space saving pump option.
