We like things that move! Regardless of the mode of transportation, most share common requirements: • Sunlight readability • Wide operating temperatures • Lots of vibration and shock • The need for open standards The LX series of Planar touch monitors are designed for extreme environments, including off -the-highway transportation and marine applications. Our LX platform of monitors are waterproof and dustproof to an Ingress Protection rating of IP-65 and are tested and certifi ed under transportation and marine regulations with regards to shock, vibration, and humidity. The touch sensor glass is transparent and optically bonded for direct sunlight readability, while the touch sensor itself features Infra Red touch sensor technology with an anti-glare treatment of the front surface and a USB interface. For night time operation, monitors can be dimmed to near zero luminance. Two diff erent mounting options are available for our rugged LX monitors: • Panel mounted via the through holes at the corners of the chassis • Rear mounted via a VESA stand with a 100mm VESA pattern provided on the back of the chassis IP-65 rated power, VGA, and USB connectors come standard with the monitors.
